MaryAnn is a Hawaiian and San Diegan native, but as a military spouse, has traveled all around the country. She was raised with very strong values of treating others like ohana (meaning family in Hawaiian), compassion, and kindness towards all, which transcends into her work. MaryAnn has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 6 years as a medical office specialist after she graduated with her Associates Degree in Science in 2010. She has worked in various medical offices ranging from internal medicine, family medicine, neurology, and ENT. However, after working at a fast paced psychology office, she found her passion in helping those who felt judged, hopeless and lost. MaryAnn is a mental healthcare advocate in her community. She recently started going back to school to pursue her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration & Management with a minor is Psychology. She is truly grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn from the best team here at APEX Recovery.
In her spare time, MaryAnn enjoys spending time with family, her husband, furbabies (husky & two cats) and friends. You can often find her outside hiking at the many beautiful hiking trails San Diego has to offer, shooting her bow at the archery range, playing with her husky at a dog park or beach, trying new cuisine throughout San Diego or lounging around at home with friends and family.
